My Approach
Building on strengths, speaking the truth, and cleaning out the closet are my favorite therapeutic activities. My insightful, non- judgmental, and encouraging style is approachable. I am client-centered, and support exploration, mindfulness, and harm reduction practices.
I recognize the unfair systems, attitudes, and power imbalances that marginalize lives and disrupt wellbeing. And, because we don’t have control over the systems which dictate our lives, I support focusing on what we do control: how we care for our whole self.
As you process and determine how to move forward with meaning and dignity, I will support you. The techniques I use are safe and effective standard practices.
Working together
Our time together begins when what you're already doing is no longer enough. Perhaps you just need someone to hear you out once in a while. Maybe, you've been blindsided by a change in a family or friend relationship. Or, you've become more nihilistic and anxious than you are comfortable with.
