Meet your therapist

Hi, I’m Rhea

I work especially well with people who are perceptive, sensitive, or intellectually driven. Folks who tend to overthink, feel deeply, and struggle to turn their mind off.

Many have been labeled “too much” or “too sensitive,” while also being the most capable person in the room.

You might be a good fit for this work if…

  • You overthink everything

  • Can’t turn your mind off

  • You are high-functioning but internally anxious or overwhelmed

  • You keep repeating patterns you already understand intellectually

  • You feel deeply affected by relationships, past or present

  • You identify as sensitive, perceptive, or “a lot”

  • You are navigating identity, including gender, religious or family-of-origin dynamics

How I Work

Building on strengths, speaking the truth, and cleaning out the closet are my favorite therapeutic activities. My insightful, non- judgmental, and encouraging style is approachable.

My approach is depth-oriented and relational. We pay attention to:

  • patterns that repeat in your relationships

  • thoughts that feel true but keep you stuck

  • emotional reactions that don’t seem to match the situation

I recognize the impact of systems, power, and social context on mental health. While we can’t control those systems, we can work toward clarity, agency, and self-trust within them.

As you process and determine how to move forward with meaning and dignity, I will support you. The techniques I use are safe and effective standard practices.

Working together

People typically reach out when what they’ve been doing is no longer enough.

You might notice:

  • your mind won’t turn off

  • you anticipate worst-case scenarios

  • you feel deeply affected by relationships, past or present

  • you keep repeating patterns you can already name

  • you feel “too sensitive” or like you’re carrying more than others

Some clients are also navigating identity shifts—rethinking family roles, gender, long-held beliefs, or religious frameworks that no longer fit.
