Therapy for people who think deeply, feel intensely, and are exhausted by both

You “should be fine.”

Therapy for when something isn’t working, even if you can’t fully explain why

You are doing your best: Showing up, managing things, getting through. Underneath, you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsettled.

Sometimes this looks like anxiety, overthinking, or tension that doesn’t go away. Sometimes it shows up in relationships, with the same kinds of situations repeating, or in a sense that something feels off even when things seem “fine.”

Often, these patterns have roots in earlier experiences- family dynamics, relationships, or environments where you had to adapt in ways that made sense at the time.

You might notice:

  • your mind won’t turn off

  • you anticipate worst-case scenarios

  • you feel deeply affected by relationships, past or present

  • you understand your patterns—but still repeat them

  • you feel like “a lot,” even when you’re functioning we

I work with people who want to understand what’s actually happening underneath their anxiety, relationships, and internal reactions.

How I Work

My approach is depth-oriented, trauma- informed and relational. Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, we pay attention to the:

  • repeating patterns in your relationships

  • thoughts that feel true but keep you stuck

  • emotional responses that don’t match your present needs

We take time to look at what’s happening underneath the surface; How patterns formed, how they continue, and what they may be protecting. This isn’t about rushing to solutions, but about understanding your experience more clearly.

From that understanding, change can begin to happen in a way that feels more steady and lasting.

Working Together

Building on strengths, speaking the truth, and cleaning out the closet are my favorite therapeutic activities. My insightful, non- judgmental, and encouraging style is approachable.

I recognize the impact of systems, power, and social context on mental health. While we can’t control those systems, we can work toward clarity, agency, and self-trust within them.

As you process and determine how to move forward with meaning and dignity, I will support you. The techniques I use are safe and effective standard practices.

TI tends to fit with people who are open to:

  • slowing down and reflecting

  • looking at patterns over time

  • understanding themselves in a deeper way

It may be less helpful if you’re looking for short-term, highly structured solutions.
